The Liaison Manager leads a team of Liaison Officers who are responsible for responding to disclosures made via the University's online platform, Report and Support. This includes but is not limited to issues relating to sexual misconduct, relationship abuse, discrimination, hate incidents, bullying and harassment, from both students and staff.

This Will Include (but Is Not Limited To)

  • Management of Liaison Officers and the Report and Support Platform service provision
  • Development of appropriate policy, procedure, guidance and standard operating procedures.
  • Development and implementation of institutional preventative initiatives
  • To project manage, write and approve the Annual Report and Support Report for publishing. Provide definitive analysis of disclosure rates, case load, feedback and student discipline outcomes to assure senior colleagues of compliance and ensure transparency to the Warwick community.

This role will require a enhanced DBS check.

About You

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an awareness and understanding in the area of sexual violence, harassment, misconduct and hate crime within a higher education environment.

They should have relevant managerial skills and experience of supporting complex, sensitive cases or demonstrate the capacity to gain this in within a rapid time period, in trauma and impact situations.

About The Department

This role sits within the University's Conduct and Resolution Team, which has overall responsibility for the effective and empathetic delivery of processes relating to student misconduct (non-academic) disclosures and reports as well as delivery of a broad range of training and preventative education.
