- BASIC FUNCTION
- Executes and repairs electronic equipment such as PC based controllers and other instruments.
- JOB RELATED KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Able to adapt & understand robotics and automation.
- Has skills & knowledge in PLC applications & can read and interpret ladder diagrams.
- Has strong sense of monitoring/assessing the performance and behavior of an equipment.
- Can identify the caused of operating failures & differentiates type of failure (electrical, electronic or even hydraulic)
- Able to work lengthy hours if needed and works all shift flexibly when job demands.
- EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS / MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- At least Three (3) years Diploma in Electronics Engineering or Diploma in Computer Engineering
- At least Three (3) years work experienced (in same position applied) in ceramic or tile manufacturing
- Or at least five (5) years work experienced (in same position applied) in any related manufacturing industry
- Training or certification in PLC programming (SIEMENS or OMRON) an advantage.
- MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs breakdown maintenance. Evaluate and analyze job request and perform the repair.
- Performs corrective, predictive & preventive maintenance as per established standards.
- Calibrates technical instruments such as servomotors, temperature & PID controllers, pressure transducers/transmitters, actuator & control valves, thermal & optical sensors.
- Repair DC drives, inverters, burner controllers , electronic cards and electronic control panels. Involve in fault detection related to PLC program & drives. Modification of parameters, reloading and back up of programs.
- Involves in the upgrade of machine based PC, adapt & restore parameters.
- Maintains records and documentations. Handle time accounting & complete job request.
- Comply with company safety guidelines & procedures.
