REAL ESTATE SECTOR ONLY - TRANSACTION DOCUMENTATION
Location: New Delhi
A prominent real estate fund specialising in debt financing for residential and commercial projects across North and West India.
Seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Legal professional. The ideal candidate should be an expert in drafting, reviewing & executing transaction documents, and other legal materials essential for fund operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with an investment team, contributing to the success of their investment strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing the funding/closing process following sanctions
- Managing amendments or restructuring of existing financings.
- Detail oriented approach with attention to line by line review of documents working with independent transaction counsel.
- Review of Title diligence
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external legal counsel, and counterparties to facilitate the execution of transactions.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of legal templates, policies, and procedures.
- Provide legal support and guidance to various departments within the organisation as needed.
Requirements:
- Prior experience working for the Real Estate Sector within banking firms and/or NBFCs is mandatory.
- Proven expertise in drafting and reviewing lending documents and Debenture Trust Deeds, Security documents.
- Excellent verbal and written English
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
- Proficiency in legal research
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality work within established timelines.
