Assistant Manager /Manager Legal at StrideOne

Location : Mumbai , Gurugram (Preferred)

Legal team is an important part of the business helping Stride One, an NBFC, achieve its goals. The

team is responsible for assisting Stride One, accurate and risk mitigating legal documentation aligned

with Stride One's best interests and guided by Stride One's ethical standards of doing business. The

team responds to high priority engagements and works on challenging legal issues from a Lending

standpoint in a fast paced environment.

Role

We are looking to hire an Assistant Manager / Manager for the Legal team at StrideOne. Location:

Gurgaon (preferred), Mumbai.

Ideal candidate needs to be a LLB graduate with minimum 4yrs PQE in an NBFC, Bank, Financial

Institution doing lending to corporates.

Core requirements include

1. Handling day-to-day and contracting for an NBFC or Bank in drafting, reviewing and

negotiating a wide array of commercial contracts, including Facility Agreements, Term Loan

Agreements, T&Cs and working capital loans.

2. Thorough and nuanced review of contract documents to undertake risk identification and

propose commercially viable mitigations.

3. Ability to strategizing with business teams on new product (lending) portfolio.

4. Keeping a regular tab on RBI guidelines and other important government mandates related to

NBFC and Banking and Financial institution sector.

5. Experience in dealing with collection agencies, 3PL vendors and collection suits from a lender's

perspective.

6. Manage relationships and processes with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifying Criteria

1. Bachelor's degree in law from a premiere law college with 4 to 6 years of experience.

2. Combination of in-house experience with core Lending organisations, Bank or an NBFC.

3. Strong subject matter knowledge and foundation in commercial law and contract negotiation.

4. Candidates based out of New Delhi, NCR will be given preference.

deadlines.
