Job Title: Legal Executive
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Legal Executive to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling both litigation and non-litigation matters, ensuring the company's interests are protected across all legal areas. This role involves preparing legal documents, managing relationships, advising on legal issues, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Litigation Management:
- Prepare, review, and manage legal documents for court proceedings, including pleadings, affidavits, and motions.
Assist in representing the company in legal disputes, including attending court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel and manage litigation strategy to ensure favorable outcomes.
Non-Litigation Activities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to business operations.
Provide legal advice on corporate matters, including mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and compliance issues.
- Evaluate and manage business partnerships with vendors, subcontractors, and other third parties to ensure legally sound and beneficial arrangements.
Policy Design & Compliance:
- Assist in designing and implementing company policies on legal matters, ensuring they are in line with current laws and regulations.
Guide management on regulatory and compliance issues to ensure that the company operates within the legal framework.
Identify potential legal risks and recommend strategies to mitigate them, protecting the company from legal violations and liabilities.Product and Service Legal Review:
Examine the legal implications of new products and services to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Lead or assist in the negotiation of contracts on behalf of the company, ensuring that terms are favorable and legally compliant.
Bachelor's degree in law or a related field.- Proven experience in handling both litigation and non-litigation matters.
Strong understanding of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
