1) Providing high quality legal advice to the Management and the teams within the Group on a full range of Legal and challenging operational issues in accordance with the following principle :
Instil and foster a culture of Legal Compliance
Advocate for Ethics & Compliance across all levels.
Build relationships with external legal advisors.
2) Legal Risk & Litigation Management
Draft, Review and provide legal advice on MOU's, Contacts and Tender documents get is vetted from Advocate.
Attend Reviews, on-going cases and advice management accordingly.
Maintain track of dates of Court Hearings & attend Hearings.
Review progress of outstanding litigation and liaison with manage external lawyers.
Coordinate with Advocates and provide information
Review and draft Contracts, Agreements and Internal Policies and ensure that they are in Compliance with all Statutory or Legal requirements.
Regulatory Compliance prepare periodical reports for the department for executive management meetings.
Knowledge of any Civil Court, High Court & Criminal Court Matters.
Qualification & Eligibility
LLB / LLM
3-5 Years Experience with Law firm or Large & Medium Corporate Companies
Demonstrate knowledge and experience with Laws dealing with Commercial/ Contract administration and Labour Laws
Required Skills & Competencies
In-depth knowledge of Regulatory Law
Excellent Communication, negotiation and Diplomatic Skills
Excellent command on English
