### **Job Overview:**
The **Legal Executive** will play a crucial role in supporting the legal department by assisting with legal research, document preparation, contract management, and ensuring the company's compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This role will report directly to the Head of Legal / General Counsel and work closely with various internal stakeholders across departments to mitigate legal risks and ensure smooth legal operations.
### **Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing legal documents including contracts, agreements, and letters.
- Conduct legal research on various issues such as corporate law, labor law, and compliance matters.
- Maintain and manage legal documentation, ensuring all records are up-to-date and properly filed.
- Coordinate with internal departments to provide legal advice and support on business operations.
- Assist in negotiations and communicate with external legal counsels, government authorities, and third-party vendors.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance, statutory laws, and internal policies.
- Monitor pending legal issues and follow up on ongoing cases.
- Prepare and present reports and summaries to the Head of Legal on legal proceedings and risk assessments.
- Support in organizing and managing board meetings, preparing minutes, and following up on resolutions.
- Handle confidential information with utmost discretion.
### **Requirements:**
- **Educational Qualification:** Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB). A master's degree (LLM) would be an advantage.
- **Experience:** 2-4 years of experience working in a legal department, preferably within a corporate setting or law firm.
- Strong understanding of Indian corporate law, contract law, and compliance regulations.
- Excellent legal research skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to work in a night shift from 06:00 PM to 03:30 AM IST.
### **Preferred Skills:**
- Prior experience working in a multinational or corporate legal team.
- Familiarity with international legal regulations and compliance.
