Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely and effective legal advice on a wide range of legal issues, including contract requirements, potential legal risks, and liabilities that could impact the company's operations.
- Engage in communication and negotiations with external parties such as regulators, local authorities, external counsel, banks, and non-banking financial companies (NBFCs), ensuring compliance and adherence to deadlines.
- Draft, review, and approve legal documents including contracts and agreements to safeguard the company's rights and interests.
- Serve as the first point of reference for the business on legal compliance, internal processes, pre-contractual due diligence, and document drafting and review.
- Maintain robust professional relationships within the organization and with external stakeholders, facilitating smooth legal operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree required.
Skills Required
- Strong proficiency in legal drafting with excellent command of English.
- Exceptional time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills capable of engaging effectively at all organizational levels and building cross-functional relationships.
