Job Description: Sr.Mgr / AGM - L&D & Talent Management
Location: Jajpur, Orissa, India
Reports to: Head of HR, Jajpur
Role Summary:
The L&D & Talent Management will be responsible for leading and managing the L&D and Talent Management function in Jajpur, Orissa. This role will involve developing & implementing strategies to enhance employee development, engagement, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- L&D Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive L&D strategies aligned with the business objectives and HR priorities.
- Talent Management: Oversee talent management initiatives, including Potential assessments, Assessment centres, succession planning, and talent development programs.
- Technical Training: Manage the entire technical training function, ensuring that employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to meet operational requirements.
- External Partnerships: Liaise with external training providers to identify and deliver suitable training programs for the workforce.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including management, HR leadership, and employees, to ensure effective L&D and Talent Management initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Lead a small team of L&D and Talent Management professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE) and Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA)
- Minimum 12-18 years of experience in L&D and Talent Management in a large manufacturing setup
- Proven track record in developing and implementing effective L&D and Talent strategies.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in using HRIS systems and other relevant AI tools.
