Job title: L&D Manager

Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for leading and developing our training program across all region and levels. This individual will manage the training content for all existing and future employees, establish a best-in-class training process, provide support for troubleshooting, and be the point person for all training related activities for frontend & backend levels at Apparel Group.
Design, develop & deliver a comprehensive short-term & long-term training program that aligns closely with company strategies, objectives, and goals and implements across all brands & departments.
Identify critical roles & HiPo and conduct training needs analysis, develop, and execute the development journey.
Plan and manage annual training budget & establish calendar of events including in-person workshops, online courses, in-store demos, and other tools.
Evaluate effectiveness of existing training programs and suggest areas for improvement.
Utilize performance metrics to assess and adjust the training program as needed.
Ensure that leadership development initiatives promote diversity and inclusion, facilitating the development of leaders from diverse backgrounds.
Establish and maintain feedback mechanisms from employees to continuously improve training effectiveness and measure the effectiveness of L&D programs and processes in meeting business goals.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to training initiatives.
Plan and manage annual training budget & establish calendar of events consisting of workshops/seminars.
Provide new hire orientation and ensure adherence to corporate training standards.
Identify Talent gaps and design & implement Succession Planning and manage career progression programs.
Remain updated on industry standards and best practices.
Skills for the role:
Must Haves:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field.
Proven ability to evaluate the success of training programs.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Decent understanding of e-learning tools - Learning Management System (LMS), HRMS, and Performance Management Tools.
Good business acumen with in-depth understanding of retail industry
Hands-on experience in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Self-driven individual who takes initiatives & ownership of work.
Flexible to travel across PAN India.
RETAIL AND HOSPITALITY EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
