Lead User Experience (UX) Designer

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and visionary Lead User Experience (UX) Designer to join our growing AI team.In this leadership role, you will play a pivotal role in crafting exceptional user experiences for our cutting-edge AI/ML and Generative AI solutions.You will champion user-centered design principles, translating complex AI functionalities into intuitive and engaging experiences for our customers.

Responsibilities:

Lead the UX design process for AI/ML and Generative AI solutions, utilizing design thinking methodologies and collaborating closely with engineers, data scientists, product managers, and other stakeholders.

Conduct user research to understand user needs, pain points, and mental models in the context of AI-powered applications.

Develop innovative information architectures and interaction models that seamlessly integrate AI functionalities into user workflows.

Design clear and concise visual interfaces that effectively communicate the capabilities and limitations of AI models, fostering trust and understanding.

Advocate for responsible AI design principles, ensuring that AI experiences are inclusive, ethical, and unbiased.

Prototype, iterate, and test UX concepts using user-centered design methodologies, gathering feedback and refining designs for optimal user experience.

Develop and maintain UX design standards and best practices specific to AI/ML and Generative AI solutions.

Stay current on the latest trends in AI/ML UX design and emerging Generative AI applications.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (Master's degree a plus).

3-5 years of experience in user experience design, with a proven track record of leading UX projects.

Strong understanding of design principles for user interaction with complex systems and AI technologies.

Experience with user research methodologies, including user interviews, usability testing, and A/B testing.

Proficiency in user interface (UI) design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and prototyping tools (e.g., InVision, ProtoPie) would be a plus.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present UX concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

A passion for innovation and a strong desire to push the boundaries of user experience with AI/ML and Generative AI.

Strong design thinking skills, adept at identifying user needs, brainstorming creative solutions, and iterating on designs based on user feedback.
