What will you be responsible for
We are seeking a Lead UI/UX Engineer with 6-9 years of experience to lead our design and development efforts to create user-centric digital experiences. As a Lead UI/UX Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and designers, to ensure seamless, intuitive, and innovative user interfaces. The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UI/UX design, front-end technologies, and a deep understanding of design systems and principles.
What would your week look like
Lead and manage the end-to-end design and development of intuitive and user-friendly interfaces across web and mobile platforms.
Collaborate with product teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product's direction, visuals, and user experience.
Translate concepts into wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
Create, improve, and use wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and sitemaps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to iterate on design solutions.
Ensure design consistency with established UI/UX guidelines and design systems while pushing for new standards and improvements.
Lead UI/UX reviews, provide feedback, and drive design improvements across multiple projects.
Stay updated on the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.
Work closely with front-end developers to ensure the implementation of UI/UX designs is pixel-perfect and fully responsive.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior UI/UX engineers, ensuring best practices are followed and team growth is supported.
Who are we looking for
Required Skills:
6-9 years of experience in UI/UX design and front-end development.
Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
Expertise in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and familiarity with modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Strong understanding of responsive design principles and experience building mobile-first interfaces.
Solid knowledge of design systems, UX/UI patterns, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and synthesizing feedback into actionable design improvements.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to stakeholders.
Ability to work in an agile environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with motion design, animations, and creating engaging micro-interactions.
Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and creating inclusive designs.
Knowledge of tools like InVision, Zeplin, or Marvel App for prototyping and design handoffs.
Experience working in cross-functional teams with product managers, developers, and marketing teams.
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or a related field.
