Job Summary

Client is hiring an offshore Test Lead in India to support our client's Payroll Transformation project. The Test Lead will be responsible for the end-to-end Testing Process from drafting up the test plan and test cases, to maintaining test cases and status reports in ServiceNow, coordinating with developer and Scrum teams, running through test cases, tracking down fixes, and ensuring that cases are tested until they pass. Experience with ADP GlobalView and Celergo or any similar payroll platforms/applications is a huge plus.

Responsibilities :

Designing Test Cases

• Design, review, and execute test cases that are tailored to the requirements of the application.
• Coordination and Test Writing.
• Drafting up a test plan and test cases.

Documentation

• ServiceNow will be used to maintain test cases and status reports.
• Ensure documentation from test case creation through error resolution.

Test Coverage

• Coordinate with developers and Scrum Masters to get developed code and configuration into testing.
• Ensure adequate testing all required features, functions, and user interfaces.

Troubleshooting

• Test Lead is responsible for troubleshooting any issues that arise during the software testing process.
• Tracking down those fixes and status updates on any errors

Reporting Issues

• Lead testers must maintain effective communication with developers and other stakeholders and report any issues in a timely manner.
• And ensure that errors are addressed and fixed

Qualifications

• True Test Lead experience. Owning the full testing process from: creation, documentation, testing, execution, identifying/solving errors and providing status reports
• 8-10 years of experience in a software QA / software development environment
• 5 years experience as a Test Lead
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or 10 years software development experience
