Lead Technology Product Owner

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Lead Technology Product ownerto join our BNY team. This role is in Pune, Maharashtra -HYBRID.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, including traders, risk managers, quants, and IT teams, to gather and document detailed business and functional requirements for market risk applications, particularly focusing on FRTB requirements.
  • FRTB Implementation: Lead and participate in the design, development, and implementation of solutions aligned with FRTB regulations for Standardized Approach (SA).
  • Data Analysis and Modeling: Analyze large datasets related to market risk factors, trading portfolios, and regulatory capital to support the modeling and back testing requirements.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of requirements, project status, and potential risks.
  • Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that solutions meet the specified requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that market risk applications are compliant with current regulatory standards, specifically FRTB, and provide support during regulatory audits.
  • Project Management: Coordinate and manage the timelines, deliverables, and resources for multiple concurrent projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and user guides to support both the development and end-user teams.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve existing risk management processes and systems, leveraging new technologies and methodologies.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on the use of market risk applications, particularly around new FRTB features and functionalities

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Strong understanding of market risk concepts, including VaR, SVaR, stress testing, and scenario analysis.
  • In-depth knowledge of FRTB regulations SA methodologies. - Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Python). - Experience with risk management systems (e.g., Murex or equivalent). Experience in Rest web services & API Test Automation
  • Proficient in Performance Testing with tools like JMeter, Blaze meter will be an added advantage
  • Proficient in SQL Queries and ability to work with Databases
