Job Description
MetricStream is seeking a Technical Lead to join our Customer Services Team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including the delivery/project manager, solutions manager, solutions engineers, customers, product management, QA, and support teams. Contribute to the development process by participating in workshops and solution design, creating/ updating project artifacts like WBS, design documents etc, Development and testing of code. Support the implementation and testing phases by ensuring requirements are met and providing ongoing communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Hands-on experience in enterprise business application design and development.
- Hands-on experience with PL/SQL, SQL, RDBMS, Java Script, J2EE, Ajax, and HTML
- Strong understanding of n-tier web architecture. Strong understanding of Web Server Security
- Experience with J2EE application servers such as Apache Tomcat, Web Logic, IBM WebSphere and Oracle Application Server
- Strong object oriented analysis and design skills
- Experience in enterprise application integration
- Ability to lead, advise, mentor others
- Ability to recommend design changes, conduct feasibility studies and provide accurate estimates
- Ability to introduce best practices in technology and innovation
- Hands on approach to problem solving
- Mandatory experience with customer facing engagements.
Skills And Experience
- 6-9 years experience in enterprise business application design and development.
- Interact with MetricStream's customers and product management regarding application features and functionality.
- Provide work estimation and validation of technical feasibility as part of implementation delivery process
- Configure applications for MetricStream's customers
- Develop, Extend, Enhance and Customize client solutions using Java, J2EE, Ajax , PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle RDBMS, Apache Tomcat, WebLogic, and IBM WebSphere.
- Work on Change Requests, Issue fixes.
- Author design documents for components.
- Participate in code reviews and design reviews.
- Work closely with QA, Product Management and support staff members as needed.
- Strong written, oral communication and project management skills.
- Hands-on approach essential.
- Strong comprehension, analytical and problem-solving skills
