Job Description
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include framework architecture design, development and validation
Interaction with cross functional teams to understand requirements and strategies, creating specification and design documents
Establish test automation across product lines by analyzing current state and leveraging research of best-in-class applicable automation tools and approaches
Analyze competitive products and technologies to make demos or proof of concepts (POCs) to influence the test automation direction
Define and implement automation test processes, strategies, and approach for requirements-based testing.
Work closely with the team and act as mentor to build subject matter experts in the team for different areas.
Work with multiple global stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze problems and propose solutions.
Skills and experience
Must have more than 10 years of relevant experience in software automation engineering
At least 5 years relevant experience in architecting and designing automation frameworks
Hands on experience in Python and any other scripting/programming language with sound knowledge of OOPS concepts
Familiar with DevOps practices, CI/CD, agile, TDD and BDD concepts.
Excellent communication skills to engage and energize cross functional teams
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, decision making skills and verbal and written communication skills
Experienced in source control management such as Git and GitHub
Good to have
Strong background of embedded software automation
Familiarity with automation of desktop & web-based application.
Exposure to innovative technology like Artificial intelligence, cloud or IoT
Exposure to hazard analysis, tool validation and requirement management
Understanding of medical device standards such as IEC 62304, ISO14971 and IEC60601
Familiar with FDA guidelines and 510K submission process
