Role Description
By joining the Infinite team, you will be developing innovative frontend solutions for Smart TV applications. You will be part of a team that is constantly seeking to improve and provide the best next generation solutions for the pay TV world.
Requirements
- We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer for our BT team.
- You will lead a team of frontend developers, providing guidance and mentorship to enhance their skills and foster a collaborative environment.
- You will design and implement scalable, maintainable, and high-performance Smart TV applications on WebOS and Tizen, using React.js, ensuring adherence to best practices in software development.
- You will establish coding standards and conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality code and adherence to project requirements, while also promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- You will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to gather requirements, define project scopes, and deliver user-centric solutions.
Personal Attributes
- Bachelors / Masters Degree in Engineering.
- Strong in fundamentals of Javascript, React.js, CSS and HTML5.
- At least 5+ years of experience with React.js based application development.
- At least 3+ years of experience in developing web apps on Tizen and WebOS.
- Hands on working experience on OTT Streaming technologies like DASH and HLS.
- Proven technical skills and self-learning ability, capable of thoroughly understanding the functional and technical aspects of a complex system.
- Strong desire to learn and improve and coach team members.
- Worked in Agile teams.
Education-
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar.
