About the Role
As a Lead Software Developer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture, implementing best practices, and driving the technical direction of our backend development efforts.

Review and influence new evolving design, architecture, standards and methods with stability, maintainability, and scale in mindIdentify patterns and provide solutions to class of problemsBe able to multitask, prioritize and handle dependencies with minimal oversightWorked on one or more large scale java applicationsGood understanding of nuances of distributed systems, scalability, and availabilityGood knowledge of one or more relational and NoSQL databases and transactionsShrewd focus on latency and throughput of servicesIn-depth understanding of concurrency, synchronization, NIO, memory allocation and GCExperience with IaaS clouds like AWS/Google Cloud, Azure, OpenStack etc..Experience in working with Message Brokers and Application ContainersGreat ability to mentor and train other team members
Experience and Qualifications
Strong computer science background with an engineering degree in computer science. with 7+ years of experience in software development and delivery.Experience in working on Java, Spring, REST, SQL (PostgreSQL or MYSQL) Messaging systems, ELK stack, microservices is required.Great design and problem solving skills with a strong basis for architecting performance, scalability, security and reliability.Deep understanding of OOAD, efficient data structures and algorithms.Knowledge of Cloud technologies like AWS/Google Cloud, Azure, OpenStack.
