About the role
As the Lead for the Strategic Partnerships & Business Growth team, you will play a key role in building and managing WeWork's sales pipeline across multiple channels. This includes collaborating with brokers, supporting business development activities, and fostering partnerships with industry associations. You'll work directly with pipeline sources to identify and qualify leads, gain hands-on experience in deal support, and engage with clients to drive meaningful growth. This role is perfect for a candidate with strong organizational skills, a client-centric mindset, and an eagerness to grow in a dynamic environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Pipeline Development & Management
Focus on generating a strong pipeline primarily through broker networks, while also actively engaging in business development and strategic industry partnerships.
Track pipeline progress and provide regular insights and updates to senior leadership.
Ensure leads are properly documented, qualified, and prepared for the sales team.
Client Engagement & Value Proposition Support
Collaborate with senior team members in presenting WeWork's value proposition to clients and brokers, showcasing our flexible workspace solutions.
Contribute to the development of tailored presentations and pitches that align with each lead's unique requirements.
Participate in discussions that highlight WeWork's offerings for cost efficiency, flexibility, and enhanced employee experience.
Deal Support
Support the sales team through the deal lifecycle, from lead qualification to negotiation and closing.
Gain experience in deal structuring and work closely with departments such as Growth Operations, Legal, and Pricing to ensure smooth deal closures.
Relationship Management & Stakeholder Coordination
Build and maintain relationships with brokers, partners, and associations to continually strengthen pipeline sources.
Work with internal teams like Pricing, Growth Operations, and Marketing to align on strategic accounts and ensure consistency in approach.
Market Insights & Strategy
Stay updated on industry trends and market dynamics to identify new pipeline growth opportunities.
Assist in gathering insights on competitors and market conditions to support WeWork's overall strategy.
Education and Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
4-10 years of experience in business development, sales support, or pipeline generation, preferably in real estate or related industry
Strong organizational, communication, and client engagement skills
Demonstrates a proactive, persistent approach with a strong interest in the flexible workspace sector
Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment and collaborate across functions
Capable of working independently, with initiative and a solutions-driven mindset
