IMAGE DEVICES (I) PvtLTD is looking for Lead/Senior Compositor to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey
- Compositing: Integrating visual elements (CG, live-action, matte paintings, etc) to create final images or sequences using compositing software like Nuke, After Effects, or Fusion
- Quality Control: Ensuring the quality and consistency of the final images or sequences, maintaining the artistic and technical standards set by the project
- Collaboration: Working closely with other departments, such as VFX supervisors, CG artists, and directors, to achieve the desired visual effects and storytelling
- Problem-Solving: Troubleshooting technical issues, optimizing workflows, and finding creative solutions to achieve the desired visual outcome
- Team Management: In the case of a Lead Compositor, managing a team of compositors, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and overseeing the overall compositing process
- Client Interaction: Engaging with clients or production stakeholders to understand project requirements, provide updates, and ensure client satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Experience: Extensive experience (usually 5+ years) in a compositing role within the VFX industry, demonstrating a strong portfolio showcasing various compositing techniques and projects
- Software Proficiency: Mastery in compositing software such as Nuke, After Effects, Fusion, or similar industry-standard tools
- Understanding of VFX Pipeline: Familiarity with the VFX pipeline, including different stages of production from pre-visualization to final delivery
- Key Attributes:Technical Expertise: Proficiency in various compositing techniques, color grading, matte painting integration, and understanding of lighting and shadows to create realistic visuals
- Creativity and Attention to Detail: Strong artistic skills and attention to detail to achieve the desired look and feel for visual effects sequences
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, optimize workflows, and find creative solutions to achieve the desired visual outcomes
- Communication and Leadership: Excellent communication skills and leadership abilities for a Lead Compositor to effectively manage a team, delegate tasks, and ensure project objectives are met
