We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Remote Sensing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in remote sensing technologies and applications, demonstrating strong leadership abilities and a passion for innovation in the field. This role involves overseeing projects, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to leverage remote sensing data for impactful solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of remote sensing projects.
- Analyze and interpret remote sensing data using various tools and software.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate remote sensing applications into broader projects.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
- Stay updated with advancements in remote sensing technologies and methodologies.
- Conduct research and development to enhance existing processes and techniques.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders on project findings and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in remote sensing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Geospatial Science, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in remote sensing applications and analysis.
- Proficiency in remote sensing software and tools (e.g., ENVI, ArcGIS, ERDAS Imagine).
- Strong understanding of satellite and aerial imaging technologies.
- Experience with data processing, image analysis, and machine learning techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage projects and lead teams effectively.
