Title: Lead Quality Engineer
Location: Hyderabad
Shift: 1.00 PM -10.00 PM IST
Job Description Summary:
The Lead Quality Engineer will play a key role in optimizing and enhancing our automation frameworks, executions in AWS infrastructure, and championing DevOps practices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Improve upon the automation testing for different applications within the organization.
- Ensure smooth operation, scalability, and performance of Selenium Grid hosted on AWS K8 cluster.
- Generate reports and dashboards.
- Integrate automation testing into development lifecycle with CI/CD pipeline.
- Cloud migration of automation scripts
- Experience in creating templates and standardizing best practices.
- Create new quality and testing concepts, capabilities, and practices, drawing upon industry best practices.
- Experience leading and driving end-to-end, cross-team testing.
- Collaborate with other teams to facilitate inter-team problem solving and end-to-end testing.
- Work with testers, managers, product owners, and directors, helping them understand and adopt practices leading to high quality and increased speed of innovation for teams.
- Keep up with evolving industry best practices for Test Automation.
- Be an important part in building the research, evaluation, deployment and upgrades.
Required Work Experience:
Minimum 8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering
Preferred Work Experience:
- Extensive experience in automation testing frameworks like WDIO and a proven track record of success in leading test automation efforts
- Demonstrated experience working with AWS, particularly with K8 deployment and management,
- In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies and practices
- Solid understanding of DevOps principles and experience applying them in a software development environment.
- Experience in handling high pressure critical projects using continuous integration with an emphasis on back-end APIs and system integrations to achieve highly efficient release cycles.
- Experience in healthcare industry

Knowledge:
AWS K8, Selenium Grid, CI/CD pipelines, Typescript, WDIO, Cucumber, Mulesoft APIs, Salesforce
Skills:
- Strong experience with automation testing frameworks like Cucumber-WDIO
- In-depth knowledge of test methodologies and best practices.
- Solid understand of DevOps principles and practices.
- Experience in AWS Kubernetes
- Experience with parallel execution with Selenium Grid.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Required Technical Training or Professional Licensing:
- AWS certification,
- Test automation frameworks Cucumber WDIO
- Scripting
- Selenium Grid
Preferred Technical Training or Professional Licensing:
- AWS Grid, AWS K8, VMs, Strong scripting skills in Typescript and JavaScript
- Test automation frameworks using WebdriverIO (WDIO) for both UI and API testing.
- Experience with NPM packages and WebDriver.
