Job Summary:
Papa Johns, a leader in digital innovation within the quick-service restaurant industry, is hiring a Lead QA Automation Engineer. This role is central to the development and testing of high-quality, customer-first applications used in back-office operations for restaurant management, such as real-time sales review, inventory checks, and franchisee access control. Key Responsibilities:
- Drive product quality for Corporate Solutions applications to exceed customer expectations.
- Design and test high-performance applications that deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Build automation solutions for web, native, batch processes, and real-time services/APIs.
- Create automated test scripts for various scenarios, including database impacts, user interactions, and regression testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate testing into every phase of product design and deployment.
- Develop test strategies, create test data, and use data/service virtualization as needed.
- Utilize tools such as Selenium, JMeter, Jenkins, Appium, LoadRunner, and others to drive continuous testing.
- Provide test analytics and insights to aid in release readiness decisions.
- Participate in planning, risk analysis, and testing approach discussions.
- Apply best practices for QA and automation to enhance Papa Johns quality processes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Technology, or Information Systems.
- Experience:
- Minimum 7+ years in QA, with at least 5 years in test automation.
- Experience with high-volume applications in a large organization is preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Java, SQL, HTML5, JavaScript, REST, SOAP, and Linux.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps tools (e.g., JIRA, Rally, Git, Confluence, Jenkins).
- Strong experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, JMeter, LoadRunner, SoapUI, LoadMill.
- Experience with Service and Data Virtualization.
