Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control procedures, policies, and standards for civil engineering projects.
Lead and manage the QA/QC team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure effective performance and adherence to quality standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Review and approve materials, equipment, and construction methods to ensure they meet quality requirements.
Identify, document, and address any quality issues or non-conformities, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Collaborate with project managers and contractors to resolve quality-related issues and ensure timely completion of projects.
Prepare and maintain detailed reports, documentation, and records related to quality control activities.
Stay updated with industry best practices, regulations, and technological advancements related to quality assurance and control in civil engineering.
Qualifications:
Diploma in Civil/Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) is a plus.
Minimum of 10years of experience in quality assurance and quality control within the civil engineering or construction industry.
Strong knowledge of civil engineering standards, codes, and regulations.
Proven experience in managing QA/QC teams and projects, with a track record of successfully delivering high-quality outcomes.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Proficiency in QA/QC software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite
