Nasdaq Technology is now looking for a skilled Lead Project Manager on trading products. The role is based in Bangalore in the Market Platforms Client Success team for the Nasdaq Matching Engine Team (NME).
Our customers are central market infrastructure operators worldwide. The Project Manager's role manages a portfolio of clients new and existing solutions. They are the first point of contact by the client and internal stakeholders.
Your role and responsibilities:
You will be planning, monitoring and runs projects from initiation through to completion. Utilizes resources, and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes. Manages projects to ensure it meets the business requirements, internal or external stakeholders are satisfied and it meets the project plans obligations regarding specifications, quality, costs and timeframes.
Furthermore, you will:
- Drive programs of work to deliver new implementations, configuration and development of enhancements and service releases.
- Coordinates and facilitates teams releasing new/updated solutions through to deployment and responding to and helping support production systems.
- Maintains an accurate project schedule with milestones and contingency buffers.
- Identifies project deliverables and tracks them through to acceptance by the customer.
- Ensures that risks are identified and recorded with mitigating actions agreed.
- Presenting all aspects of the project to different stakeholders as per processes and ad hoc, such as status reporting, input to steering committees etc.
- Release management, prepares information for customers on the contents of each software release and delivers the release through the release process.
- Tracks the forecasted and actual hours/budget for a project delivery, managing any deviations and identifying progress and tracking based on budget constraints.
- Control meetings and set out clear agendas and maintain records of decisions and action points.
- Requests resources and maintains resource timelines, update forecasting against allocations.
- Displays success with program delivery in a matrix, global organization where the project successfully aligns to business strategy.
We expect you to have :
- At least 10 years in a Project Manager, or similar client facing role e.g. Operations, Client Management.
- Experience in Financial Services e.g. Fintech provider, exchange, bank, broker, or financial institution.
- Experience delivering to external clients e.g. on the vendor side.
- Broad knowledge of capital markets and trading systems.
- Excellent analytical and organisational skills.
- Strong customer facing / engagement skills.
- Build relationships that develop trust and inspire confidence.
- A highly collaborative working style.
- Education Qualification: Degree qualified in Computer Science, business administration or related discipline with proven project management delivery.
It would be great if you :
- Formal Project Management certification.
