Position Title: Lead Procurement - Mines

Compensation Range: 12,00,000 - 16,00,000 per annum
About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Lead Procurement professional to join our team in the mining sector within the engineering and manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, specifically in the mining sector, with expertise in sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies for mining operations, ensuring cost-effective sourcing and supply chain efficiency.
- Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to optimize value and mitigate risks.
- Sourcing: Source raw materials and equipment required for mining operations, ensuring quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery.
- Contract Management: Manage procurement contracts, monitor supplier performance, and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Inventory Control: Optimize inventory levels and manage stock availability to support mining operations while minimizing costs.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring uninterrupted operations.
- Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Reporting: Prepare and analyze procurement reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: B.Tech/B.E in Mining Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 10-15 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on the mining sector within the engineering and manufacturing industry.
