Experience in Process Engineering Activities:
- Demonstrated experience in process engineering activities within industries such as Pharmaceuticals, Fine Chemicals, Specialty Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Refinery, and Oil & Gas.
Process Design Expertise:
- Proficient in process design for Oil & Gas and Chemical projects across Conceptual, FEED, and EPC phases.
- Well-versed in the latest international codes and standards, process design guidelines, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Technical Integrity Assurance:
- Ensure technical integrity of engineering deliverables through the use of valid and relevant codes, standards, and compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Pre-determine applicable international industry codes and standards, legal requirements, statutory regulations, and Client Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations for specific projects.
Design Deliverables:
- Prepare design deliverables, considering applicable Process Industry Codes and standards.
- Take ownership of deliverables and ensure their quality.
Process Flow and Piping Design:
- Proficient in developing Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Expertise in equipment sizing, system hydraulic calculations, safety valve sizing, and selection.
Engineering Calculations:
- Conduct process engineering calculations with a clear understanding of basic chemical engineering principles.
- Perform checks on process engineering deliverables.
Pressure Safety Valve (PSV) and Flare Network:
- Experience in PSV calculations and flare network sizing using FLARENET.
Process Datasheets:
- Knowledgeable about the development of process datasheets for vessels, pumps, instruments, etc.
Safety Meetings:
- Proficient in safety meetings such as Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) studies.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure quality by adhering to the company's quality documentation and conducting regular checks on work done by others, including interdisciplinary checks.
Process Simulation Tools:
- Proficient in the use of process simulation tools such as HYSYS, Aspen Plus, HTRI, KORF, AFT, etc.
Software Skills:
- Familiarity with routine software like MS Office.
