About the role
We are extremely excited to announce that we are inviting candidate applications for a Lead IT PMO (Project Management Office) to be based in our Hyderabad office in India on a hybrid working setup.
This position will lead the IT PMO function, tasked with establishing the framework for project creation, management, and completion. The focus is on enhancing governance and developing the methodologies, documentation, and processes for identifying, prioritizing, and delivering projects with high quality and positive stakeholder engagement.
What you will be doing
The Lead IT PMO role involves promoting the consistent use of Orica's project management methodologies across all IT projects, collaborating with key leads to support governance, and providing direction on methodologies like Waterfall and Agile. It also focuses on driving innovation and process improvements. This role ensures end-to-end project delivery compliance, tracks progress, resolves issues, and maintains consistent governance across IT portfolios, including AI.
In terms of governance, the role defines and drives the IT projects portfolio governance framework, facilitates key governance forums, and supports governance across various IT portfolios. It also involves communicating project status to stakeholders, providing periodic reports, and managing the IT PMO team, including workload scheduling, professional development, and performance management.
