Key Responsibilities:
. Advanced Troubleshooting: Handle high-complexity incidents and problems related to Azure services (Data & Integration Services resources like Databricks, ADF, SQL, Machine Learning workspace, Azure Web Apps, Azure Kubernetes etc.), including but not limited to performance optimization, and security issues. Provide advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for critical issues.
. Incident and Problem Management: Lead the investigation and resolution of escalated L2 issues. Develop and implement long-term solutions to prevent recurrence of issues. Coordinate with other teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of complex problems.
. Azure Platform Optimization: Analyse and optimize Azure resources for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability. Recommend improvements to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
. Security & Compliance: Ensure that Azure environments adhere to security and compliance requirements. Perform security assessments, implement safeguards, and address vulnerabilities. Keep up to date with emerging security threats and Azure security features.
. Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline operational tasks and enhance the efficiency of Azure resource management. Utilize PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other scripting languages as needed.
. Knowledge Transfer & Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for support procedures, best practices, and complex issue resolutions. Provide mentorship and training to L1/L2 support engineers to enhance their technical capabilities.
. Customer and Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including executives, to provide updates on critical issues, project status, and technical recommendations. Deliver high-quality support and foster strong relationships with key users.
. Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest Azure technologies and industry trends. Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of new support strategies and tools.
