Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Piping Design Engineer to join our team for EPC projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Piping systems, technical scrutiny, and specification preparation, along with vendor management experience. This role involves ensuring technical compliance, evaluating vendor offers, and overseeing the installation and commissioning of piping systems.
- Understand typical P&ID's & Isometrics drawings.
- Identify pipe routing and locations of various pipe supports for different pipe materials.
- Coordinate within the piping team and provide mark-ups.
- Develop Piping GAD's, Piping Isometrics, and Piping Standard drawings.
- Assist piping lead in monitoring changes in the project and raising variations.
- Participate in 3D model reviews with relevant disciplines.
- Understanding Piping & Valve material specification with relevant codes and standards.
- Knowledge of Plot Plan, Site Layout, Hazardous Area Classification Drawings, Equipment Layout, Pipe Rack Layout, Piping General Arrangement Drawings and Piping Isometrics
- Knowledge of Pipe Stress Analysis and selection of Pipe Supports.
- Advanced knowledge of business operations and project management.
- Exceptional mentorship abilities to introduce and implement technical solutions
- Proficiency in modelling tools like Autodesk Plant3D, AVEVA E3D, PDMS, CADWorx.
- Familiar with Piping Specifications, codes & standards. (ASME, ASTM, API, DIN, JIS, EN).
- Lead project teams to resolve discipline issues effectively and ensure contractual requirements are met.
- Coordinate with other disciplines, clients, vendor and subcontractors to meet project objectives.
- Prepare/ Updatelist of deliverables for different project activities.
- Flexibility, solution-oriented approach, and strong team player.
- Willingness to travel when required.
