Due to our on-going success securing large-scale projects for 2023, we have a requirement for Lead Piping Design Engineer join our Piping Department, Bangalore.
:
Coordination with other PM Group offices to understand the scope of work, deliverables, time lines, hours etc.
Lead a team of Designers in Bangalore for scope of work assigned from Project office and report back to Project office lead on work progress.
Participate Model Design Coordination Meeting.
Interface with BIM & Design leads
Conduct design reviews - both formal (with Client) and informal (internal)
Produce and check complex piping plans and layouts, piping isometrics sketches and electronic 3D models for equipment in accordance with project requirements, codes, specifications and procedures.
3D Piping Design
Isometric generation from Process P&ID's.
Review Stress Analysis report and update the piping 3D Design.
Clash checking for pipe clashes.
Coordination of design with other design disciplines and vendors.

A degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of 10 years piping design experience with 3 to 5 years as Lead Piping Design Engineer
Minimum of 3 to 4 years experience in the use of Intergraph's SP3D (S3D)/CADWorx / Plant 3D
Experience to manage a team of designers working on an area scope. Planning, monitoring and checking quality for the work done by designers.
Experience on International projects working remotely from India with an EPC company.
Sector experience- Pharmaceutical/ Biopharmaceutical
Candidates from O&G/ Chemical sector with relevant Piping 3D experience
Design experience with clients from Europe and the USA is an advantage.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Willing to travel to Europe for 1 to 3 month on selected projects.
