Sr. No. Category Description 1 Education B.E./B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science or Information Technology 2 Experience Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in Oracle database administration, design, and implementation. 2 Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle Database Lead to lead our database management efforts with a focus on Oracle technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Oracle database administration, including SQL tuning and optimization, replication, high availability design, troubleshooting, backup and recovery, upgrades/migrations, and Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control configuration. 3 Key Responsibilities 1. Lead and participate in RFP processes, design and architect Oracle database solutions to meet the organization's business requirements, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. 2. Develop and implement methodologies to offer Oracle database services on IaaS and PaaS models also to ensure the IaaS and PaaS offerings are scalable, secure, and user-friendly. 3. Design, implement, and manage containerized Oracle database environments using Docker and Kubernetes. 4. Develop container orchestration strategies to improve scalability and manageability of Oracle solutions. 5. Architect and implement Oracle database solutions for high availability, including Real Application Clusters (RAC), Data Guard, and other HA technologies. 6. Design & architect monitoring tools and alerting systems to proactively detect and create self healing capabilities for issues in database environments, including performance bottlenecks, database down and failover. 7. Conduct performance analysis and tuning of Oracle databases to optimize resource utilization, query performance, and system throughput. 8. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, procedures, and best practices. Provide training and mentorship to junior team members as needed. 4 Desired Skills 1. Proven experience in managing RFP processes and vendor evaluations. 2. Deep expertise in Oracle database technologies, including Oracle Database 12c/19c, Real Application Clusters (RAC), GoldenGate, Data Guard, and Enterprise Manager. 3. Proficiency in database performance tuning, query optimization and troubleshooting. 4. Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control installation, configuration, and usage. 5. Experience with database backup and recovery strategies, including RMAN and Data Pump. 6. Knowledge of database high availability and disaster recovery solutions. 7. Expertise in Ansible and Jenkins for automation and CI/CD pipeline creation. 8. Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration. 5 Certifications Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification is highly desirable.
