Roles and Responsibilities:As a Lead .NET Developer at Ideassion, you will:
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing REST-based applications.
- Translate complex business requirements into efficient Microservices and integration models.
- Develop robust security models, access controls, policies, and authentication mechanisms.
- Design and deploy Microservices, integrating them with various channels and communication platforms.
- Communicate technical designs effectively to executive teams and stakeholders.
- Hands-on development and deployment using .NET Web API and the latest .NET Frameworks.
- Convert legacy code (dotEDMX andVB.NET) into the latest Entity Framework and C#.
- Utilize design patterns, SOLID principles, and Microservices best practices to ensure system robustness and scalability.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Ensure standard release processes and adhere to client IT project methodologies.
- Research new technologies and initiatives to enhance development practices.
- Manage and direct project team members to achieve organizational objectives.
Requirements and Skillset:
- 6+ years of progressive experience in software engineering with expertise in Microservices architecture and API integration.
- Strong experience in building REST-based APIs using .NET Web API (at least 5 years).
- Proficiency in the latest .NET Frameworks (such as .NET 6 or 7, .NET Core) and Azure platform (minimum 3 years).
- Sound knowledge of Entity Framework (EF 6 and latest EF), including migration skills.
- Familiarity with .NET Blazor technology is a plus.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking ability, and a proactive can-do attitude.
