What's the role:
In this role You will guide the team through the testing lifecycle, implementing best practices, and ensure the quality of in-scope tests. In addition you will:
Define and implement a long-term strategy for mobile test automation.
Define test objectives, scope, and criteria for success.
Oversee the execution of automated test suites, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
Establish best practices, standards, and processes for mobile testing within the organization.
Facilitate team meetings, set goals, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust mobile test automation frameworks.
Ensure the framework supports various types of testing (functional, regression, performance, and load).
Stay updated with the latest tools and technologies to improve the testing process.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
Lead a team of SDETs and QA engineers, providing technical direction and mentorship.
Who are you:
You are an ideal candidate for this role if you possess the following skills, competencies, and work experience:
Bachelor's degree in engineering preferably in computer science.
8 to 12 years of experience working in software industry including 5+ years in mobile apps testing.
In-depth knowledge of mobile operating systems (iOS and Android) and their ecosystems.
Proficiency in languages such as Java, Kotlin, Swift, Python, or JavaScript.
Extensive hands-on experience with mobile test automation tools like Appium, Espresso, XCUITest.
Strong familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or equivalent.
Expertise in version control systems like Git.
Strong understanding of test design techniques and test case development.
Expertise in QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

In this role, you will be part of our innovative SDK QA team, which is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of HERE services through rigorous testing and automation of our Android and iOS applications. Your daily focus will be on developing robust test frameworks, automating test cases, and integrating them into our CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with developers to convert test plans into reality, ensuring that our mobile applications perform seamlessly.
