Roles and responsibilities:
The desired candidate will be responsible for leading an Integrated Marketing team for the Sulekha Group, this individual will cut across multiple business and verticals inside the Sulekha Group. The role will require someone with expertise in B2B and B2C audiences, spanning in the Indian and US markets.
Brand Marketing:
- Develop and execute comprehensive brand marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and resonance in the market.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all channels and touchpoints.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitors.
Performance Marketing:
- Lead performance marketing initiatives to drive customer acquisition, conversion, and retention.
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize digital marketing campaigns across various channels such as PPC, SEO, email, and social media.
- Implement A/B testing and other analytical methods to enhance campaign performance.
Team Leadership:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Set clear objectives and KPIs for the team, regularly monitoring and reporting on performance.
- Mentor team members, helping them develop their skills and achieve professional growth.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with product, sales, and other relevant teams to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
- Foster strong relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors to enhance marketing capabilities.
- Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
- Track and report on marketing expenditures, providing insights for future budget planning.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Establish a robust analytics framework to track key marketing metrics and performance indicators.
- Generate regular reports to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and recommend improvements
Innovation and Adaptability:
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in marketing, advocating for the integration of innovative strategies.
- Demonstrate adaptability in response to changing market dynamics and business needs.
US Market Expertise:
- Leverage extensive experience in the US market to tailor marketing strategies that resonate with the local audience.
- Stay informed about regional market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities in the US in multiple verticals in the US
- Collaborate with regional teams to ensure marketing campaigns align with the unique characteristics of the US market.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- 8-10 years of progressive experience in marketing, with a focus on both brand and performance marketing.
- Experience must be rooted in hands-on demonstrated performance in earlier years of performance marketing, content marketing, usage of tools relating to content creation/ medium-selection, attribution, and measurement of ROI.
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies in the US market.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing.
- Working with outsourced consultants cost-effectively in conjunction with in-house talent, seamlessly and without a drop in productivity.
- Experience and comfort with accepting and delivering on business outcomes of sales.
Technical Skills and Knowledge:
- Familiarity and comfort with lower-level tools like ChatGPT, DALL-E-2, potentially at an API level.
- Skill and knowledge of effectively using platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc., in the creation of successful, measurable campaigns.
- Fusion of basic level technical marketing with traditional digital and mainstream marketing.
- Comfort with WhatsApp marketing as a component of the job.
- Extensive ability to research and synthesize material relating to competing tools, competitor material with respect to the business.
