About the role
We are looking for an experienced and qualified LLB graduate to join our
legal team as an In-House Counsel. The focus of this role is on contract and
compliance management with knowledge of labour laws.
Key Responsibilities:
. Oversee the end-to-end management of the contract lifecycle, including
drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing a variety of commercial
contracts (e.g., customer agreements, vendor contracts, service agreements, and
NDAs) relevant to a SaaS company.
. Monitor and track contractual obligations to ensure compliance and
proactively address any potential risks or issues.
. Provide legal support to the organization on contract law, ensuring
all agreements align with statutory and regulatory requirements.
. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop training programs
and policies, enhancing contract management practices and compliance awareness
across departments.
. Assist in dispute resolution related to contractual issues, working
with business and legal teams to manage contract-related risks effectively.
Requirements:
. LLB degree from a recognized university.
. 3-5 years of experience in a similar role as an in-house counsel or law
firm associate.
. Strong understanding of Indian laws and regulations, especially in the
areas of contract law.
. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills (written and
oral).
. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
. Work from Office in Bangalore.
