Job Summary
The Functional Lead Capability Development is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing talent development and talent management interventions for certain key business functions across the organization. This role focuses on building strong functional and organizational capabilities within the business functions like Sourcing, Buying & Merchandising (SB&M), HR, FCNA etc. The incumbent is also responsible to foster a culture of continuous learning, develop career and growth frameworks, and build development interventions for entry-level talent through structured development programs.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with business leadership and key stakeholders to identify talent needs and develop customized talent solutions to address the gaps.
Enable Talent Assurance for critical functional roles by building role specific skills and capabilities through structured Capability development certifications; thereby equip role holders for future role readiness.
Establish integrated Competency Framework within RR Talent Management platform and map all development interventions with role specific skills.
Enable the adoption and utilization of the Competency Framework across Talent processes and platforms.
Lead the design and implementation of capability certification programs through Functional Capability Academies like HR & SB&M etc.
Ensure alignment of learning and development efforts with organizational goals and individual career aspirations
Foster a culture of continuous learning by building programs and initiatives beyond certifications and introduce other methodologies like social learning, community of practice etc.
Manage the full life cycle of talent development programs, including design, development, delivery, and evaluation.
Use data and feedback to continuously improve learning and development programs.
Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and other learning interventions.
Implement structured role-readiness certification programs for entry-level Trainees.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure the effectiveness and relevance of certification programs.
Support the Talent Marketplace platform, promoting its use for career and growth development.
Mentor and coach team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent management and continuous learning.
Desired Eligibility
16+ years of experience in Capability Development & Talent Management or related field
Proven track record of designing, developing and implementing impactful talent development programs.
Strong understanding of talent development best practices and learning methodologies
Excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
Experience in competency framework development and implementation.
Strong collaboration and communication skills with all levels of the organization
Ability to manage projects and budgets effectively.
Manage team to drive strategic learning outcome of all development interventions.
