Lead Java Developer

• Design, implement, and maintain java applications that are often high-volume and low-latency, required for mission-critical systems.
• Develop well-designed, efficient, and testable code following existing standards and best practices.
• Integrate data storage solutions like databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.
• Identify bottlenecks, bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Mentor junior team members and assist in code reviews.
• 4+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong experience in designing and developing applications using Java technologies.
• Proficient in Java, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Familiarity with concepts of MVC, JDBC, and RESTful.
• Experience with popular web application frameworks, such as Play and Spark.
• Experience with relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Good knowledge of build tools such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle.
• Experience with test-driven development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
• Proven work experience as a Java Developer.
• Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment.
• Strong experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, etc.
• Knowledge of Java-related web services (RESTful, SOAP).
• Familiarity with continuous integration.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
• Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git.
