Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience as a System/Network Administrator.
2+ years of experience in managing IT team.
Strong technical proficiency in system administration, network management, and network security.
Hands-on experience with Windows, Mac, and virtualization technologies.
Experience with SonicWall firewall, Windows Active Directory, Aruba, and any antivirus software.
Familiarity with networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) will be considered a plus.
Job role
System Administration:
Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and software applications.
Ensure the security, integrity, and availability of all systems and data through regular monitoring, maintenance, and upgrades.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, providing timely resolutions to minimize downtime and disruptions.
Network Management:
Configure, monitor, and optimize network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls to ensure seamless connectivity and performance.
Implement and enforce network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems, to safeguard against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
User Support:
Provide technical support to end-users, addressing their IT-related queries, issues, and requests promptly and professionally.
Set up and configure workstations, laptops, and mobile devices for new employees, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their roles effectively.
IT Security:
Monitor and analyze security logs and reports to identify and mitigate potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
Enforce IT security policies and procedures, conducting periodic audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
