Lead, Internal Audit
Position Summary
Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, the Lead, Internal Audit will play a critical role in guiding and executing the internal audit strategy of FairPrice Group. The incumbent will manage risk-based audit plans, lead audit engagements, and ensure robust internal controls and effective risk management practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute a risk-based internal audit plan that aligns with organizational objectives.
- Lead audit engagements, providing assurance to the Audit & Risk Committee on the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and risk management practices.
- Drive transformation and enhance the value of the internal audit function through strategic implementation, leveraging digital and technology audit capabilities to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Undertake ad-hoc investigations or assurance reviews as required.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Possess a degree in any discipline, complemented by at least 10 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 4 years in a managerial role.
- Professional certification (CA, CIA, CISA) is preferred, with special consideration given to candidates with expertise in digital platform audits.
- Proficient in data-driven and continuous assurance audit approaches.
- Comprehensive understanding of business risks and controls; able to identify key risks and propose business-focused solutions to enhance risk management and compliance.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude, a commitment to continuous learning, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
