Position: Lead Instructor for Full Stack Web Development
About the Role:
As the Lead Instructor for Full Stack Web Development, you will be the primary teaching faculty responsible for delivering comprehensive and hands-on instruction in full-stack web development. Your role will be crucial in guiding and mentoring students, ensuring they gain practical skills and knowledge essential for careers in web development. You will work closely with students, industry professionals, and academic peers to create an engaging and effective learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Design and Delivery: Develop, update, and deliver a full-stack web development curriculum, incorporating the latest industry trends and best practices. Conduct lectures, workshops, and hands-on coding sessions to facilitate active learning.
- Mentorship and Guidance: Provide mentorship and guidance to students, fostering an interactive and supportive learning environment. Offer academic advising, assist with portfolio development, and prepare students for job readiness and real-world challenges.
- Assessment and Feedback: Develop and administer assessments to evaluate student progress. Provide constructive feedback to support student learning and maintain accurate records of student performance.
- Industry Integration: Stay updated with industry trends and integrate industry-relevant projects, case studies, and guest lectures into the curriculum. Prepare students to meet real-world challenges and job readiness in full-stack web development.
- Teaching Methodologies: Implement innovative teaching methodologies and active learning techniques. Foster a collaborative and inclusive classroom environment that accommodates diverse learning styles and needs.
Who You Are:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in full-stack web development. Proven expertise in programming languages, frameworks, databases, and deployment technologies.
- Experience in teaching, training, or mentoring individuals in web development. Ability to break down complex concepts into manageable lessons.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles and needs.
