This is a full-time on-site role for a Lead IBM Storage Admin located in Noida. The Lead IBM Storage Admin will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as storage management, troubleshooting, storage solutions, replication, and system administration.

Looking for L3 level for 7 years of experience in Storage technology in IBM and Huawei.
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Storage Engineer (Level 3) to join our dynamic team. As a Level 3 Storage Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of our storage infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our storage systems meet the organization's needs for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement storage solutions based on business requirements, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Manage and maintain storage infrastructure, including storage area networks (SAN), network-attached storage (NAS), and direct-attached storage (DAS) systems.
- Monitor storage performance and capacity utilization, identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate storage solutions with servers, virtualization platforms, and backup systems.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures, diagrams, and configuration details.
- Implement and maintain data protection and disaster recovery solutions, including backups, replication, and failover mechanisms.
- Evaluate and recommend new storage technologies and solutions to enhance performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for storage-related issues, including root cause analysis and resolution.
- Participate in capacity planning and forecasting activities to ensure adequate storage resources are available to support business growth.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to storage and data management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in storage engineering, with a focus on enterprise storage solutions.
- Strong knowledge of storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, DAS, RAID, and file systems.
- Experience with storage platforms from leading vendors such as Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE, or Pure Storage.
- Proficiency in storage management tools and utilities, such as VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, or OpenStack.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and technologies relevant to storage connectivity (e.g., Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS, SMB).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., EMC Storage Administrator, NetApp Certified Data Administrator) are a plus.
