Role description

Role Proficiency:

nEnsuring adherence to test practices and process to improve test coverage

nOutcomes:

Create Test Estimates and Schedules

Identify business processes conduct risk analysis and ensure test coverage

Ensure adherence of processes and standards

Produce test results defect reports test logs and reports for evidence of testing

Publish RCA reports and preventive measures

Report progress of testing

Contribute for Revenue savings for client by suggesting alternate method

nTest Design, Development, Execution:

Participate in review, walkthrough, demo and obtain sign off by stakeholder for Test Design

Prepare Test summary report for modules/features

nRequirements Management:

Analyse, Prioritize, Identify Gaps and create workflow diagrams based on Requirements/User stories

nManage Project:

Participate in Test management

nDomain relevance:

Identify business processes, conduct risk analysis and ensure test coverage

nEstimate:

Prepare Estimate, Schedule, Identify dependencies

nKnowledge Management:

Consume, Contribute, Review (Best Practices, Lesson learned, Retrospective)

nTest Design Execution:

Conduct root cause and trend analysis of the defects

Identify the test scenarios with understanding of systems, interfaces and application

Identify end-to-end business critical scenarios with minimal support

Create/Review the test scenarios and prepare RTM

Good testing experience in a Mainframe environment

nMust have Healthcare domain experience and system experience in Enrollment & Billing(WGS/ISG),Claims

nAbility to define test plans, test cases, test scripts as per requirements and execution, Good knowledge of software testing(STLC) Concepts

nFamiliarity with software testing methods risk based, boundary, black box and white box testing

Primary Duties:

n1.Attending requirement walkthrough session and pass the same to entire team

n2.Preparing and reviewing test planning documents writing and reviewing test cases, test data, set up the test environments, and structure and organize various tests.

n3.Setting up the test environment to meet entry criteria and capturing performance validations to enhance the quality of the systems and applications.

n4.Test case execution and defect reporting

n5.Defect retest and regression testing

n6.Reviewing all the testing artifacts within Team and test closure activities to meet exit criteria.

n7.To do quality audits for all the teams to ensure process compliance.

n8.Assisting offshore team in technical issues resolution and providing clarifications

n9.Ensure all testing results are easily accessible and understandable. Communicate/Collaborate onshore, offshore team members with respect deliverables and team building.

n10.Keeping the application information document and other application related trailing materials up-to-date Maintain knowledge repositories.
