Job Description

1. Business Development
  • Identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, and customers
  • Generate leads and cold call prospective customers
  • Support the team in managing the sales pipeline and maintain the Customer Relationship Management System
  • Understand the needs of your customers and respond effectively with a plan of meeting those requirements to the best-in-class standards
  • Develop high-quality funding proposals (1-Pagers/ PPTs/ MoU), managing all aspects of donor relationships including periodic reporting, donor visits etc.
  • Support all internal operations required for successful proposal delivery

2. Partnerships & Advocacy
  • Actively cultivate and manage existing and potential client relationships
  • Support the design and implementation of strategic alliance and partnerships with Public sector undertakings, Foundations. NGOs and government stakeholders
  • Develop a strong understanding of the businesses products and services and position yourself as a trusted advisor for our clients.
  • Support expansion on existing and prospect client/funder base by participating in and organizing a wide range of interventions like face-to-face meetings, round tables, convening, events etc.

3. Account Management
Leverage communication and relationship building skills towards client retention and delight
Liaise with the finance team and execution teams to ensure excellence in account management
Maintain proper documentation of projects undertaken and draw insights out of them

Marketing & Research
  1. Keep a close watch on trends and updates on government interventions, policies and CSR initiatives by corporates to leverage these for EI
  2. Develop & update general and program brochures, media kits, key messages, fact sheets, and other collateral material as needed
  3. Implement strategic marketing activities both digital and online to generate interest and increase the visibility of EIs mission, projects and products in the intended market.
  4. Gather news stories, data, statistics from potential partner organizations and programs team to be used in both internal and external communication.
  5. Produce high-quality white papers, case studies and write-ups for circulation amongst key stakeholders to disseminate about the companys work and efforts.


Requirements
Educational Qualifications
Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline
Experience Required
3 years of experience in relevant roles and responsibilities preferably in education / impact focused organisations.
Preferred: Work/fellowship experience in the education/development sector
Key Skills
1. Interest in and understanding of India education landscape
2. Excellent English oral and written communications skills
3. Ability to visualize and write concise and comprehensible content
4. The ability to learn fast, and grasp Educational Initiativesu2019 model and business
5. The ability to work collaboratively in teams and independently as a self-starter
6. Being detail-oriented, with strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
