We've been unit profitable for 18 months + and have recently turned EBITDA profitable as well. The role
We are looking for a
Lead, Finance to join our team in Bengaluru. This role is integral to the daily operations within the Finance team at Headout, ensuring smooth, efficient processes that keep the organization running seamlessly. Candidates should either be based in Bengaluru or willing to relocate.
What makes this role special
- Accountability: In the travel and experiences industry, precision in handling customers funds is essential. This role is key to maintaining Headout's financial reliability through efficient payment processing and refunds.
- Visibility: With responsibilities for reporting and reconciliations, this role offers direct insight into the company's growth and scale.
- Exposure: You'll gain hands-on experience with leading financial tools and platforms, such as PayPal and Checkout, expanding your expertise in global financial operations.
- Financial Management: A chance to deepen your skills in book closure and financial preparation.
- Audit Engagement: Work directly with auditors to ensure smooth audit closures.
- ERP System Knowledge: Exposure to ERP system implementation.
- Tax Compliance: Develop expertise in both indirect and direct tax compliance across global subsidiaries.
- Internal Controls: Contribute to the design and optimization of internal controls, supporting improved financial management.
What skills & experience do you need
- Qualifications: You are a qualified CA with 0-3 years of relevant experience.
- Excel Skills: Numbers don't intimidate you; they empower you.
- Adaptability: You're eager to learn and thrive in dynamic environments.
Bonus
- Previous experience working with Big Six firms or within a startup environment.
