The Business Development Manager will be responsible to maintain and expand relationship for the assigned category. The incumbent is expected to further strengthen existing relationships of channel partners, Universities and colleges and also empanel new partners
Responsibilities
Business Development
- Lead FI Channel is a critical point of contact for the Financial Institutions where Credila has a distribution tie up
- The incumbent is entrusted to maintain excellent business relationships, own and drive business targets through assigned partnerships
- The incumbent is expected to onboard new distribution relationships from BFSI segment including wealth management firms.
- He/ She is expected to drive lead generation from FIs, work with location sales team to drive the business realization
- He/ She is expected to handle operational issues and monitor day to day business volumes and undertake specific strategies to drive up volumes
- Work closely with Location Heads and Sales Managers to achieve overall lead flow.
- Actively coordinate activities with the Sales team to accomplish Sales targets and assumes responsibility for the coordination with premium partners, being the central point of contact.
- Conceive and design sales promotions/ contests for FI channels and teams to boost productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure HDFC Credila branding, awareness and visibility at channel shops/ offices.
- Monitor quality of leads sourced and help channel partners/ sourcing teams towards efficient originations.
- Monitor fulfillment of leads by sales and streamline responses and TAT for higher business delivery.
Business planning and forecasting:
- Build revenue and sales business plan for each assigned channel partner to measure mutual success for company and the partner.
Business Intelligence:
- Review the market landscape, identify partners, review business model of potential partners to bring relevant partnerships for review.
- Track competition offerings, promotions and strategies for channel partners and students. Build and execute effective tools to ensure desired business delivery and customer experience.
- Analyze upcoming market trends, review and process their relevance and share business development ideas which includes new age/ fintech aggregators.
Qualifications
- MBA from Reputed Business School with min 8-10 years of relevant experience within a Banking and Financial Services environment having extensive business knowledge with Sales/Channels background.
- Strong organizational skills and attention-to-detail with the ability to set clear priorities in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
- Self-starter and able to work independently as well as with teams.
