Job Description
BE/ B Tech in mechanical engineering with 8 to 15 years of Project Engineering experience, preferably in Subsea Christmas Trees/ Subsea Manifolds/ In-line Structures/ Termination heads/ Subsea Hydraulic Distribution Systems/ Wellheads/ Valves & Chokes/ Connections & Tie-in systems etc. with good awareness of overall subsea Production Systems.
Exposure to ASME, API, NORSOK, and DNV Codes and Standards related to subsea equipment design and manufacturing will be an added advantage
Competent in Engineering practices, design methods & calculations. Experience in reviewing & approving engineering designs, documents, layouts, calculations and interpreting FEA/ structural analysis results
Understanding of various manufacturing processes - forging, hot and cold extrusion, cladding, HIP, induction bending etc.
Ability to read, interpret & prepare applicable technical information & suggest design or process changes to ensure functional and cost-effective results.
Must have the drive and initiative to independently communicate, gather information and make sound engineering decisions.
Able to work independently and interface with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced project environment.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
Good understanding of economic factors (schedule, cost, profit, impact of decisions) affecting the scope assigned.
Demonstrates organizing and project planning skills. Manage schedule and prioritize work for self and others in the project engineering team assigned
Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team.
Fluent in written and spoken English. Strong in both verbal and written technical communication.
Good PC skills (word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software).
