Job Summary:
Component & Compliance Group Team Lead supports Engineering, Manufacturing and Sustaining teams in development and sustenance of SLB products by
- Maintaining accurate technical and reliability data of electrical and electromechanical components in SLB specific PLM system
- Monitoring lifecycle and compliance status of components
- Assisting design engineers in selection of components or alternates for their application
- Authoring and ensuring adherence to standards and procedures
- Collaborating with international stakeholders in implementing component technology roadmap
- Handle the project related to Electronic Component Qualification and Testing
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee all activities related to electrical and electromechanical component data management in SLB specific PLM system.
- Manage the projects on Electrical Component qualification testing (Evaluation, Characterization, Life test etc.)
- Assist team in defining Component test plans, procedures and creating test setup (Hardware and Software)
- Guide and assist the team in performing PCN (Product Change Notice) impact analysis
- Mentor the team to perform lifecycle and compliance analysis and provide alternate suggestions.
- Collaborate with international stakeholders in implementing technology roadmap of components.
- Author and ensure adherence to standards and procedures.
- Review and approve engineering change orders.
- Delegate tasks and set deadlines.
- Monitor team performance and report on metrics.
- Listen to team members feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts.
- Discover training needs and motivate team members.
Academic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in one of the following disciplines:
- Electronics Engineering
- Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- Electronics and Communication Engineering
- Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering
Experience: 5-6 years of relevant work experience
Skills Required:-
Key Skills:-
- Electrical Component Qualification (Evaluation, Characterization, Life test etc.)
- Writing test plans, procedures and creating test setup
- Handling Electrical Lab Instrument
- Testing Electronic Component based on technical attribute as per different test condition.
- Investigation of test results with different Cross functional team to validate the component operation as per design.
- Creating reports and presenting findings to management or engineering teams
- Operating electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters to measure voltage, current, resistance, and other parameters.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and electromechanical components and their technical parameters
- Strong knowledge of interpretation of electrical component datasheets, schematic and PCB layouts
- Good knowledge of Environmental Compliance directives RoHS (restriction of Hazardous substances) and WEEE (Waste of Electronic and Electrical Equipment)
- Good Knowledge of Life Cycle trends of Electronic Component
- Strong knowledge and hold of Microsoft excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft word
- Strong oral and written communication skills
