- Create functional requirement and software specification.
- Create or collaborate to software validation test plan.
- Development and testing of automated test scripts according to the test plan definition.
- Execution of automated test scripts applied to the product, analysis of the test results and review with team.
- Development of tools for the automated testing framework and for the development of product.
- Perform Static code analysis and unit testing for software validation activities.
- Establish traceability of software requirements, design, and testing
- Track, monitor and report embedded software design and validation activities.
- Perform electrical and EMC testing within the electronic development teams (HW, SW)
- Create and manage the Tasks in the Task management tool for each sprint.
- Attend the daily SCRUM meeting and report progress and blocking points to the Lead Engineer.
- Mentor the team on all necessary activities.
Requirements:
- Required Engineering Graduate / Post Graduate in Software / Computer Science / Mechatronics / Electronics with hands on experience in Software + Hardware development of Smart Direct Actuators System.
Experience : Minimum 0610 years work experience in Engineering / Projects at Tier -1 company for automotive industry, preferably from Bosch, Continental, Visteon .
Knowledge / Skills:
- Strong knowledge of electronics and C / C++ programming for embedded systems.
- Experience in a domain with safety constraints (Railway, Avionics, Medical, Energy ) or with a quality-rated development process (ASPICE, SPICE, CMMI )
- Good exposure to Protocols like CAN, UDS etc.
- Good hands-on experience on CANoe, CANanalyzer and CAPL Scripting.
- Knowledge of Assembler coding is a plus.
- Very good technical know-how of stepper and DC Motor controls.
