The Role
- The incumbent will be responsible for developing software in custom camera security solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain board support packages (BSP) for embedded Linux systems.
- Customize and configure Linux kernels, device drivers, and bootloader components to meet specific hardware requirements.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to define system architecture and hardware/software interfaces.
- Perform board bring-up and validation activities, including debugging and troubleshooting hardware/software integration issues.
- Optimize system performance and resource utilization through kernel tuning, driver optimization, and system-level profiling.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and release notes.
Ideal Profile
- You have at least 5 years experience including solid experience in a similar role within Industrial and IT.
- You have working knowledge of BSP, embedded Linux BSP., Multithreading, camera development, Audio/Video Development, Linux, Device Drivers and LInux Kernal Integrals
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming languages and shell scripting.
- Experience in Linux kernel internals, device drivers, and bootloader configurations.
- Experience with embedded development tools and cross-compilation toolchains.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
